Primary Accountabilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for MT and M&B segments, ensuring achievement of short and long-term revenue goals.
- Lead a large, geographically dispersed sales team; foster a high-performance culture focused on customer engagement and business growth.
- Design workforce planning initiatives, including talent acquisition, capacity planning, continuous performance management, and leadership succession.
- Control and improve efficiency metrics such as workforce productivity and operating costs.
- Utilize CRM, ERP, and sales management systems to evaluate sales performance, customer trends, and inventory levels, driving data-informed decision-making.
- Partner effectively with marketing, finance, logistics, and legal departments to coordinate launch campaigns, optimize trade terms, and safeguard profitability.
- Direct negotiation and administration of trade agreements involving terms for pricing, promotions, rebates, product placement, and stock returns.
- Implement training frameworks and professional development programs designed to enhance sales capabilities and customer interactions across all regions.
- Monitor and report operational KPIs including sales volume, product availability, inventory turnover, trade term compliance, and promotion effectiveness.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, partner agreements, and applicable Vietnamese legislation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher qualification preferably in Business, Marketing, or Economics.
- 12 years experience in sales within the FMCG sector, with substantial management experience leading large teams.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Proven leadership in driving cross-functional initiatives and aligning teams towards shared objectives.
- Proficient in business English and fluent Vietnamese.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Vietnam to oversee regional operations and engage with teams in the field.
