Senior SEO Specialist (Technical, Content, AI Search)

About The Role

We're looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to own organic growth end to end. That means the technical foundations, the content that ranks, and the AI-driven content operation that produces it. You'll run audits, optimize and refresh our content library, and build and manage the AI workflows that let a small team publish and improve content at scale.

We judge this role on signups, trials and revenue, not just rankings. You'll have real ownership and room to shape how Katalon shows up in both traditional and AI search.

What You'll Do

Content optimization

• Own the content optimization program across the blog, product pages and comparison pages: refreshes, consolidation, pruning and on-page improvements, prioritized by traffic and conversion impact
• Turn keyword and SERP research into content briefs that writers, AI workflows and subject matter experts can work from
• Diagnose ranking declines and content decay, and ship fixes on a regular cadence
• Build and maintain topic clusters and the internal linking structure across the site
  
  

AI-driven content operations

• Design, run and keep improving our AI-assisted content pipeline, from research and briefing through drafting, optimization, QA and publishing
• Set the quality bar for AI-assisted content: editorial review, fact-checking, brand voice and E-E-A-T standards
• Build automations and agents for repeatable SEO work such as audits, monitoring, internal linking suggestions and reporting
• Work with Product, Engineering and in-house experts to bring real practitioner insight into our content
  
  

Technical SEO

• Run regular technical audits covering crawling, indexing, rendering, Core Web Vitals, structured data and site architecture
• Own SEO for the blog and core site templates, including schema, redirects and migration hygiene
• Write clear tickets for engineering and review pull requests that affect SEO
  
  

AI search and measurement

• Grow our visibility in Google AI Overviews and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, with a repeatable way to track it
• Run SEO tests and analyze backlink and competitor gaps
• Own the organic and AI search roadmap and report on its contribution to signups, trials and revenue
  
  

What Success Looks Like In Your First 6 Months

• A monthly content optimization program is running, with measurable gains on priority pages
• Our AI content pipeline is in production, with clear QA gates and documented workflows
• The technical audit backlog is cleared and core templates meet our technical SEO standards
• AI search visibility is tracked and reported alongside organic performance
  
  

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on SEO across technical, on-page and content, with a track record of growing organic traffic and conversions
• Proven content optimization results: refreshes, consolidation and briefs that moved rankings and traffic
• Experience building or running an AI-assisted content workflow (LLMs, prompt design, automation tools), with examples you can share
• Solid technical SEO skills: rendering, indexing, canonicalization, schema and site audits
• Strong editorial judgment. You can spot generic content and know how to make it better
• Confidence with GSC, GA4 and Semrush (or similar tools)
• Comfortable reading code and working with engineers on JavaScript-based sites
• Clear, confident written & spoken English
• Based in Ho Chi Minh City

• Marketing to software engineers, QA or DevOps audiences
• Programmatic SEO at scale (comparison, integration or template pages)
• Next.js, Payload or another headless CMS
• Building agents or automations with Claude Code, MCP servers, n8n or GitHub Actions
• International SEO across multiple markets
• Sharing work publicly through talks, posts, open-source tools or experiments
