Role Overview:
The Sales Manager will drive the growth of the wood coatings business in Vietnam, with a focus on developing new accounts, expanding market share, and building strong relationships with key customers. The role plays a critical part in implementing sales strategies, managing projects, and ensuring technical solutions meet customer expectations while supporting long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales growth and profitability targets for the Vietnam market, aligned with business plans and budgets.
- Develop, manage, and expand key accounts while building a pipeline of new opportunities in the wood coatings sector.
- Implement sales and product strategies, ensuring consistency with regional and global objectives.
- Conduct customer meetings, product trials, and solution presentations, collaborating with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver value.
- Foster trusted relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders, positioning the company as a preferred partner.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customers operations and technical requirements to provide tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with R&D teams to support product development initiatives based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close sales contracts to meet agreed targets.
- Use CRM tools to track opportunities, visits, trials, and account activities while maintaining accurate forecasts and sales reports.
- Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities, and provide feedback to strengthen market positioning.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements to promote capabilities and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different functions to ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with a strong background in coatings, paints, or chemical industries.
- Proven expertise in wood coatings or related industrial coatings applications.
- Solid track record of managing key accounts and driving business development in Vietnam.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical and commercial solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Results-driven, customer-focused, and capable of working independently and within a regional team environment.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.
