We are looking for a Sales Manager/ Head of Sales to define and drive the B2B sales strategy for Ninety Eight's blockchain product ecosystem (including Coin98 Super Wallet and related products).
The primary mission of this role is to set clear sales direction and strategic priorities, translate that strategy into a scalable sales framework, and enable the existing Business Development team to execute with consistency and focus.
This is a strategy-led role. Hands-on involvement in key deals is expected and valued, both to drive results and to inform sales strategy, framework design, and continuous improvement at the system level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Direction
- Define and own the overall B2B sales strategy for Ninety Eight's blockchain product ecosystem.
- Identify priority customer segments, use cases, and go-to-market motions.
- Make clear strategic choices and trade-offs (what to focus on vs. deprioritize).
- Align sales strategy with product roadmap, market positioning, and long-term business goals.
- Provide strategic input to leadership on market opportunities, risks, and growth levers.
Sales Framework & Governance
- Translate sales strategy into a clear and repeatable sales framework, including:
- ICP definition and segmentation logic
- Lead qualification criteria
- Sales stages and exit criteria
- Deal review and approval flow
- Pipeline management and forecasting cadence
- Establish sales playbooks, governance principles, and pricing logic to ensure disciplined execution.
- Continuously refine the framework based on market feedback and product evolution.
Team Enablement & Execution
- Build, enable, and continuously improve the Sales team to execute the defined sales strategy and framework effectively.
- Provide coaching and training to strengthen commercial thinking, solution selling, and disciplined deal execution across the team.
- Review key deals and support complex or strategic negotiations, ensuring clear deal ownership and high-quality execution.
- Establish execution cadence, performance visibility, and feedback loops to drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to ensure effective opportunity handoff and alignment, while maintaining clear role clarity between functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-have
- Strong background in B2B sales for complex products or solutions (e.g. blockchain, fintech, SaaS, infrastructure, platforms).
- Proven experience defining sales strategy and go-to-market direction, not just executing targets.
- Demonstrated ability to design or significantly improve sales frameworks and processes.
- Experience leading and enabling an existing sales or BD team.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think in systems, priorities, and trade-offs.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Leadership.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (written & spoken).
Nice-to-have
- Deep interest in Web3/blockchain. The existing network in the space is a strong plus.
- Experience with ecosystem or platform-based products.
- Exposure to cross-selling or bundling services as part of a broader product offering.
