JOB DESCRIPTION: B2B ELT SALES MANAGER

I. ABOUT US

MM Publications is an international publisher of high-quality educational materials, specializing in ELT (English Language Teaching), Maths & Science. Operating in over 110 countries, we are dedicated to setting global standards in curriculum development.

Having built a 7-year foundation in Vietnam with two offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, we are now seeking a highly dynamic and strategic Sales Manager (B2B) for the Southern market. This pivotal role is responsible for building and leading our three-members sales team, expanding the market in ELT SME segment, and becoming a core driver of our next phase of exponential growth in Vietnam.

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, especially for SME Customers, to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for educational materials.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to formulate effective business plans.
  • Design and implement product promotion and sale offering initiatives, including school visits, workshops, seminars, and school tours to promote sale and enhance brand visibility.

2. Team Management & Assessment

  • Recruit, train, and coach the Sales and Academic team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Set individual KPIs/targets and conduct periodic performance reviews to evaluate and motivate team members.

3. Account Management & Stakeholders Relations

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts while actively acquiring new B2B clients (schools, language centers, educational institutions), especially in the ELT SME segment.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive and maintain strategic relationships with MM Publications Europe, and actively foster key relationships with local and international partners, referral networks, and agencies.

4. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance and submit periodic reports to the Director.
  • Propose actionable solutions to optimize sales processes and revenue outcomes.
  • Manage the sales department's budget and operational costs effectively.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales within the Education/ELT sector.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a team management role.

Advantage: Prior experience at major publishers, large ELT distributors such as Oxford, Cambridge, Pearson, Macmillan, or National Geographic Learning, FAHASA, DTP Education is highly preferred.

Language Skills: Proficient in English (all 4 skills), equivalent to IELTS 7.0+.

Other Requirements:

  • Open to both Vietnamese and Expat candidates.
  • Demonstrates high autonomy and responsibility, proven ability to organize and execute plans effectively, providing timely, accurate feedback and strategic proposals to the Director.
  • Willingness to travel for business (specifically to the Southern region) when required.
