Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Planning & Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. This includes identifying new business opportunities, preparing detailed proposals, and negotiating contracts with key clients.
Key Account Management
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of high-value clients. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Provide guidance and support to junior sales staff, sharing best practices and market insights. Assist in their professional development and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Market Analysis & Reporting
Conduct continuous market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Client Presentations & Meetings
Lead and conduct professional presentations and client meetings to showcase Dubai World Trade Centre's value proposition and exhibition spaces, ensuring all client needs are clearly understood and addressed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably within the events, exhibitions, or hospitality industry.
Exceptional sales, negotiation, and contract management skills.
In-depth knowledge of the global events and exhibitions industry, including key trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English
