Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
The HR Manager is responsible for leading the Company's overall Human Resources function, ensuring that HR strategies, policies and operations effectively support business objectives and organizational growth.
Working closely with the CEO and Department Heads, the role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee engagement and HR operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with strong leadership capabilities, business acumen and the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a dynamic business environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. HR Strategy & Business Partnership
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with the CEO and Department Heads on workforce planning, organizational structure and manpower budgeting.
- Provide practical HR advice and solutions to management on people-related matters and organizational effectiveness.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, from workforce planning and candidate sourcing to interviews, offers and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and build effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop talent pipelines and employer branding initiatives to attract and retain high-quality talent.
3. Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Develop and implement performance management frameworks, including KPIs, MBOs and employee development plans.
- Partner with Department Heads to establish performance expectations, evaluate employee performance and address performance gaps.
- Identify training needs and support organizational development, succession planning and employee capability building.
4. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
- Oversee payroll, personal income tax, social insurance, employee benefits and other statutory HR obligations.
- Develop and review compensation structures, incentive schemes and salary adjustment policies.
- Manage employment contracts, probation, employee records, leave management and other HR administrative processes.
- Monitor HR budgets and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
5. Employee Relations & Company Culture
- Manage employee relations, workplace conflicts, grievances and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, collaborative and performance-driven working environment.
- Support internal communications and strengthen employee retention and Company culture.
6. HR Compliance, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor laws, employment regulations and Company policies.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, internal labor regulations and related documentation.
- Oversee HR systems, employee databases and management reporting, including headcount, recruitment, turnover and labor costs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, with broad exposure to recruitment, HR operations, compensation & benefits, performance management and employee relations.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or in a similar role with substantial HR responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of Vietnamese labor laws, social insurance regulations and HR compliance requirements.
Professional Competencies
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR operations, with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and daily execution.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR management systems and AI-enabled tools.
- Comprehensive English communication skills, particularly spoken English, are a must.

- Experience in a growing company, entrepreneurial organization or multi-brand business environment is an advantage.
