This Happy People Manager (HR) job might be for YOU, if:

You have:

  • At least 3,5 years of experience with similar role.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in Vietnamese and English
  • Excellent clear communication skills
  • Comfort with HR related policies and legal compliance, and Vietnamese business administration
  • The habit of recruiting, hiring, promoting and worst-case firing people with the habit of organizing exit interviews and reporting the good & the to be improved to the management
  • The habit of communicating to all people in the company to keep a finger on the pulse of their happiness

Youre good at:

1.Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensuring compliance with HR-related regulations and implementing HR policies
  • Assisting with internal and external HR audits and ensuring all documentation is accurate and current

2.Compensation and Benefits:

  • Proceed monthly payroll (via BASE)
  • Reviewing and renewing contracts for all benefit programs
  • Work with Finance to manage and proceed payment for SHUI, Trade Union, PIT, etc.

3.Expatriates and Visa:

  • Handling expat documentation (WP, TRC, Visa) and overseeing issuance/renewal processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulatory changes to adjust documentation and processes as needed for expat compliance.

4.Employee Engagement and Employee Happiness Index (we call our people Angels, fyi):

  • Developing strategic initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and overall happiness (with quarterly surveys to monitor the Employee Happiness Index)
  • Proposing, planning & running internal events and activities to boost energy, passion and gooooood work while fostering a positive work environment
  • Conducting regular informal employee check-ins sessions, and using insights for continuous improvement of the companys operations, processes and works

5.Talent Hunting & Development (Recruiting, Hiring & Promoting):

  • Identifying training needs and organizing professional development programs
  • Creating and managing career development plans, ensuring clear pathways for employee growth
  • Developing, implementing, and managing (half-yearly) or annual employee performance evaluations
  • Developing and implementing employer branding to attract top talents (organically)
  • Maintaining a database of organic talent CVs and managing their interests with company management, leaders and the talent themselves (meet, reply, keep in touch)

6.You put the Human in Human Resources Management:

  • Making the HR process and onboarding as human as possible
  • Overseeing selection, onboarding, retention, and performance management processes
  • Preparing, managing, and maintaining documentation on employee life cycle events (onboarding, confirmation, off-boarding, etc.)

7.Documentation and Contracts:

  • Preparing and storing employee contracts, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations
