We are looking for a Head of PMO with strong strategic leadership and organizational skills to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) and its team of Project Managers. This is a key leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing critical projects in the Banking and Finance sector, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with company objectives.
As Head of PMO, you will set standards for project governance, drive best practices, and ensure the efficient delivery of business-critical initiatives. The role reports directly to the CEO.
Job requirements:
Generals:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, CSPO, or equivalent required.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience managing medium to large-scale projects, with responsibility for teams of 100+ members.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO leadership, covering both strategic planning and operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in the BFSI sector (Banking, Financial Services) with deep industry knowledge.
Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to mentor and coach effectively.
- Solid background in banking product development and management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Management team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Define team roles, objectives, and KPIs to ensure clarity and accountability.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to strengthen project management capabilities.
- Oversee the execution of project strategies in alignment with business goals.
- Ensure projects are delivered successfullyon scope, on time, and on budget.
- Establish and implement project management frameworks, methodologies, and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align priorities and optimize resource allocation.
- Manage staffing and resource planning, ensuring the right skills, tools, and support are in place.
- Deliver regular reports on project status, budget performance, and risk assessments.
- Track project outcomes against business objectives and KPIs.
- Identify areas for improvement in delivery and execution, and implement solutions.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks and issues impacting project success.
