Role Overview

The Head of Telemarketing Sales will be responsible for leading and optimizing a large telemarketing organization of 300+ people. The role requires a results-driven leader with strong experience in the Vietnamese market, capable of balancing productivity growth with cost-efficiency. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in managing large local teams while effectively engaging with senior international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, manage, and develop a telemarketing sales team of 300+ employees to deliver on revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  2. Define and execute telemarketing sales strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  3. Optimize cost-to-income ratio by driving process improvements, digital adoption, and performance management.
  4. Establish and track KPIs to monitor sales effectiveness, productivity, and service quality.
  5. Build strong engagement and motivation within the telemarketing workforce to minimize attrition and improve morale.
  6. Partner with cross-functional leaders (operations, compliance, risk, finance) to ensure efficient and compliant sales processes.
  7. Serve as a bridge between local teams and international stakeholders, providing insights, updates, and recommendations.
  8. Foster a culture of financial literacy, sustainability, and inclusion in line with company values.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  2. 10+ years of progressive experience in sales management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in Vietnam.
  3. Proven experience managing large-scale local sales or telemarketing operations.
  4. Strong track record of achieving sales growth while improving efficiency and cost ratios.
  5. Excellent leadership and people development skills, with the ability to inspire and retain large teams.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage both local teams and expatriate stakeholders.
