About The Position

Location: Vietnam (Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh)

Reports to: Regional Finance Lead

We are looking for a General Accountant / Finance Executive to manage full-scope accounting (VAS & Tax), billing, AR/AP operations, and bank reconciliations for Vietnam and Indonesia.

This role ensures strict tax and VAS compliance, drives active AR collections to secure cash flow, handles vendor payables, and prepares financial reporting.

What You Will Be Doing

• General Accounting & Tax Compliance (VN): Handle daily bookkeeping, Balance Sheet/P&L preparation, and full tax reporting (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT) under VAS. Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Billing Operations (VN & ID): Prepare and issue monthly invoices accurately and on time for Vietnam and Indonesia entities.
• AR Collection (Primary Ownership): Actively track overdue accounts, issue Statement of Accounts (SOA), follow up with clients, and take primary ownership of collecting payments on time to reduce DSO.
• AP & Bank Reconciliation: Process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
• System & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems (e.g., Xero) and provide reliable data for management reporting.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 2–4+ years in general accounting, tax, billing, and AR/AP operations (experience in foreign companies preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of VAS, tax regulations, and Xero/Excel. Chief Accountant Certificate is a plus.
• Entity Experience: Prior experience with Vietnam and Indonesia entities is a strong advantage.
• Languages & Mindset: Strong English communication skills, proactive can-do attitude, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability: Able to start working ASAP.
