The Role

The General Accountant is responsible for the end-to-end management of internal accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of financial data. Simultaneously, this role serves as a financial business partner, assisting the Management Board in cost control, financial analysis, and optimizing business performance.

What You Will Do

Accounting Data Management & Control

Record, verify, and summarize all arising accounting transactions.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Control the validity of supporting documents, invoices, and expenses.
Reconcile data across relevant internal systems and departments.

Financial & Management Reporting

Prepare periodic financial statements (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual).
Analyze revenue, expenses, profit, and overall operational performance.
Provide management reports to support executive decision-making.
Propose financial solutions to optimize costs and maximize financial efficiency.

Taxation & Compliance

Handle tax declarations and finalizations (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.).
Ensure full compliance with statutory accounting and tax regulations.
Work with tax authorities during audits and inspections.
Update and apply new regulatory changes in tax and finance.
Review financial terms and conditions in business contracts.

Accounting System Optimization & Building

Standardize and continuously improve internal accounting processes.
Recommend automation solutions to optimize the accounting system.
Collaborate with departments to manage cash flow and operational expenses.
Participate in developing financial reporting systems and executive dashboards.

What We're Looking For

Knowledge & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Minimum 03 years of experience in accounting positions; preference given to candidates with background in general or internal accounting.
Solid understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.).
Strong foundation in accounting principles, corporate finance, and internal controls.
Experience working with tax authorities or auditors is a major plus.

Skills

Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and risk management capability.
Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability in handling unexpected situations.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; hands-on experience with accounting software (MISA, Fast, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
