General Accountant - AP & Banking

We're looking for an experienced General Accountant - AP & Banking to join our Finance team and take ownership of Accounts Payable, banking transactions, cash flow and treasury operations across multiple entities.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle - invoice processing, 3-way matching, payment scheduling, AP aging, vendor reconciliation and PO-to-bill tracking

• Coordinate with Procurement & Supply Chain to resolve invoice discrepancies and strengthen cost control

• Handle banking transactions, bank reconciliation, payment processing and banking administration

• Support daily/weekly/monthly cash flow reporting, cash forecasting and fund transfers

• Coordinate with banks and Treasury on loan disbursements, repayments, banking facilities and related documentation

• Support VAT, WHT, FCT, CIT and other AP-related tax compliance

• Contribute to month-end/year-end closing, audit and tax consultant activities

• Ensure AP & banking activities comply with VAS & IFRS

• Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows, automate processes and optimize payment cycles

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in AP, banking or related accounting functions

• Experience in Retail, FMCG or F&B is highly preferred

• Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay, 3-way matching, invoice reconciliation and vendor management

• Good knowledge of VAT, WHT, FCT and other tax implications related to AP transactions

• Familiarity with ERP systems, VAS & IFRS

• Strong Excel & data analysis skills

• Detail-oriented, highly organized and comfortable handling high-volume transactions and tight deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills

• Ability to coordinate and manage a small team is a plus
