Since its launch in May 2019, SmartPay has been dedicated to helping merchants grow by providing advanced, fast, cost-effective, and reliable technology. By December 2021, SmartPay had over 650 thousand payment acceptance units and 40+ million users. With a mission to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises, SmartPay allows merchants to accept various payment forms and access capital regardless of size. SmartPay also supports financial inclusion for over 4 million micro and SME retailers in Vietnam through business solutions like Buy Now Pay Later, Consumer Durable Loans, and Business Loans.

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for our Fintech solutions. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth by promoting innovative financial technology products and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Growth

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new market segments, customer bases, and strategic opportunities.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align growth initiatives with company vision and product roadmap.

2. Client & Partner Acquisition

  • Identify, approach, and secure new corporate clients, merchants, and institutional partners.
  • Negotiate and close high-value commercial agreements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the fintech, banking, and payments ecosystems.

3. Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and trend monitoring to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and market fit.
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field

Experience:

  • 5+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships in fintech, banking, payments, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals and exceeding sales targets.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good communication and presentation abilities.
  • Deep understanding of fintech products, payment systems, digital banking, and regulatory environments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

Location: 16th Floor, Etown Central, 11 Doan Van Bo, Xom Chieu Ward, HCMC.

Time: Mon - Fri ( 9AM - 6PM)
