Reporting to: Business Development Director
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our client portfolio, promoting company products to both local and international clients (including advertising agencies and brands), driving revenue growth, and shaping business strategies. You will collaborate with internal teams, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our digital marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
Identify and approach new potential clients to achieve personal and team revenue targets.
Build and implement strategies to reach potential clients and support team members in meeting their goals.
Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and analyze target audiences.
Collaborate with internal teams (Account Planning, Creative, Media) to develop and finalize proposals and presentations for IMC and media campaigns.
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and oversee the quality of proposals and quotations before sharing with clients.
Prepare and control Profit & Loss (P&L) during campaigns and report actual revenue and profit monthly.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Take charge of initial sales contracts with clients/vendors and follow up on subsequent contracts with Sales Admin.
Ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction throughout project execution.
Chase payments and report payment status, coordinating with Finance, Accounting, Admin, and BODs.
3. Proposal & Campaign Management
Work with relevant departments to create and finalize digital/IMC proposals and media plans.
Present proposals and media plans to clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
Review weekly/monthly campaign reports before they are sent to clients.
Monitor campaign performance and ensure delivery of satisfactory results.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and manage the Business Development team, assigning tasks based on team members&apos strengths and growth opportunities.
Provide training and guidance on sales and digital marketing to team members.
Participate in the hiring process for new team members.
Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
5. Professional Development
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and benchmarking best practices.
Contribute to team efforts and support related tasks as assigned by BOD.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in client sales within advertising, media, or digital marketing (Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, Display Advertising, etc.).
Strong skills in time management, presentation, client relationships, negotiation, sales motivation, and team management.
Proven ability in prospecting, meeting sales goals, sales planning, and developing digital marketing proposals.
Bachelor&aposs degree or equivalent; international education is a plus.
Dynamic, ambitious, detail- and results-oriented, with a can-do attitude.
Proficient in English and Vietnamese (interview conducted in English).
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
