Position Overview:

This 3-months contract role focuses on two key areas: overseeing the quality of Vietnamese language assets (subtitling) and managing the performance of external linguists. You'll work closely with internal teams to set guidelines and ensure that all deliverables meet client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control

Work with internal teams to create clear guidelines for freelance linguists based on client guidelines and technical specifications.

Perform quality checks on subtitles, ensuring they adhere to the agreed-upon standards.

2. Manage External Linguists Performance

Evaluate and provide feedback on linguists quality, punctuality, and communication.

Help linguists grow their capabilities to handle a variety of tasks and projects.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
• Experience or familiarity with subtitle work.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, full-time work environment.
• A natural inclination for attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tasks.
• Ability to express ideas and feedback in a clear and professional manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, linguistic or equivalent qualifications.

Background or interest in media, film is a plus.
