Technology Advisory Director Risk Services

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Director - TechnologyAdvisory to lead complex technology transformation engagements, drive business development, and shape the strategic direction of our Technology Advisory practice. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, guiding clients through IT and data strategy, digital transformation, IT operating model design, cloud and AI adoption.

This role demands a senior leader with deep technology expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to grow client relationships and high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Delivery & Advisory

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, multi-disciplinary IT advisory engagements across industries, focusing on Financial Services business where relevant.
• Advise clients on IT and data strategy, digital transformation, technology operating models, IT cost optimization, and emerging technologies (Cloud, AI, Big Data, Cybersecurity).
• Provide thought leadership on IT and application modernization, ERP transformation (SAP, Oracle, D365), and cloud journeys (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure delivery excellence, quality, and risk management across all client work.

Business Development & Growth

• Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
• Build and nurture C-level client relationships, expanding PwC's footprint in existing accounts.
• Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, and negotiations for major engagements.
• Develop go-to-market propositions and contribute to PwC's intellectual capital and thought leadership.

Practice & People Leadership

• Build, coach, and lead high-performing teams of consultants, managers, and senior managers.
• Drive talent strategy: recruiting, developing, retaining, and promoting top talent.
• Champion PwC's culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Tech Advisory practice.

Risk & Quality

• Ensure compliance with PwC's risk management, independence, and quality standards.
• Manage engagement economics, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.

Job Requirements:

Experience

• 15+ years of relevant experience in IT and Technology advisory, or senior IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years at a senior leadership/director level in a Big 4, top-tier consulting firm, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of leading multi-million-dollar technology transformation programs.
• Proven success in business development, with a history of generating and closing new business.

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Deep expertise in one or more: IT and Data Strategy, Digital Transformation, Cloud Strategy & Migration, ERP Transformation Advisory, IT Operating Model.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI/GenAI, Data & Analytics, Automation, Cloud Platforms and Cybersecurity).
• Industry experience in Financial Services / Healthcare / Retail / F&B / Public Sector preferred.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
• Relevant certifications (TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, AWS/Azure/GCP, CISSP, COBIT or equivalent) are a plus.
