Senior Solutions Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Consultant to support the design and delivery of complex banking and lending solutions for clients across multiple markets.

The role combines business consulting, solution design, and client engagement, with a strong focus on translating client needs into practical solutions utilizing EmbedIT products, client systems, and third-party platforms. The position is highly client-facing and involves participation in pre-sales activities, discovery engagements, and early implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solution Design

• Participate in presales activities, workshops, RFI/RFP responses, and solution presentations.
• Understand client business goals, challenges, and technology landscape.
• Design target solutions utilizing EmbedIT products, client systems, and third-party platforms.
• Prepare high-level solution architecture, implementation approach, effort estimates, and project timelines.
• Present proposed solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.

Discovery & Implementation Consulting

• Lead or support discovery activities during the early stages of implementation projects.
• Analyze client processes, applications, integrations, and operating model.
• Define target architecture, solution design, and implementation roadmap.
• Work closely with delivery, product, and project teams to ensure successful project initiation.

Product & Innovation

• Identify opportunities for product improvements based on project and client experience.
• Contribute to the evolution of EmbedIT solutions and best practices.

Your Experience and Skills

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in solution consulting, solution architecture, business analysis, or implementation consulting.
• Proven experience with large-scale enterprise software implementations.
• Experience working with banks, lending companies, fintechs, or other financial institutions.
• Experience delivering solutions involving multiple business and technology workstreams.

Domain Knowledge

• Good understanding of banking and/or lending processes.
• Understanding of modern banking architectures and modular banking ecosystems.
• Understanding of the role of integration platforms and API-based architectures in complex banking implementations.
• Experience with known core banking platforms (Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Asseco, Finastra, etc.) is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of enterprise architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, messaging, and system integrations.
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premises deployments.
• Ability to assess technical impacts, implementation complexity, and solution scalability.

Professional Skills

• Ability to engage confidently with C-level and senior client stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to think creatively and design pragmatic solutions tailored to client environments.
• Ability to estimate implementation effort, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Comfortable representing the company at conferences, industry events, and customer meetings.
