Job Description

1. Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving large-scale solar project sales in Vietnam, covering utility-scale ground-mounted solar farms, floating solar, and large Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders including EPC contractors, project developers, investors, government entities, and large industrial consumers. The role leads the full sales cycle from prospecting and bidding to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring revenue targets are achieved while maintaining strong customer relationships and market intelligence.

2. Key Responsibilitie

Business Development & Strategy

  • Identify and pursue utility-scale project opportunities in Vietnam, including solar farms, floating solar, and large-scale C&I projects
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with the regional utility business plan and annual targets
  • Lead strategic partnerships with top-tier EPC contractors, project developers, and investors

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives, project owners, government bodies, and key decision-makers
  • Manage key accounts through structured account planning and value-based relationship management
  • Represent Jinko in project bidding processes, tender submissions, and large-scale B2B negotiations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, technical, supply chain) to ensure seamless project delivery

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, policy changes (including DPPA regulations), competitor activities, and project pipelines in Vietnam
  • Track and analyze competitor pricing, contract terms, and strategic movements to maintain competitive positioning
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports to regional leadership

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing strategies, contract terms, payment conditions, and credit terms
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and healthy cash flow for projects
  • Manage the full sales cycle from project identification, proposal preparation, negotiation, to contract signing and handover

3. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of B2B sales experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 3-5 years focused on utility-scale projects in Vietnam
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale solar projects or major industrial deals in Vietnam
  • Demonstrated experience in tender/bidding processes and large-scale contract negotiations
  • Existing network with EPC contractors, developers, investors, and key stakeholders in Vietnam's solar industry is highly preferred

Language: fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken) is mandatory
