Job Description

1. Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to source, recruit high quality insurance specialists, work closely with Talent Acquisition team to attract and hire candidates.
- Build up strong and quality sales force through training, coaching, handholding all Insurance Specialist (IS), monitor IS performance and provide development plans.
- Drives the sales team/bank branches to achieve sales target, sustainable growth in new business & key quality drivers.
- Work with bank managers to develop and implement sales strategies to get more quality leads for advisory consultation.
- Plan with branches and effectively implement sale promotion, campaign, and activities in support of profitable new business growth, existing business retention and customer experience.
- Customer centric by excellent service and selling on full customer journey by ensuring all sales consultation and process comply with legal and regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet business & operational and/or other requirements.

2. Financial and Non-Financial Measures
Financial Measures
Target of Volume of New Business (VONB) and Annualized Premium (ANP); Persistency; Productivity
of sales team; performance & development of IS; Product mix; sales qualities KPIs such as CFI,
surrender, IS Active Ratio, IS Productivity, ACK
Branch Relationship Management and Engagement
IS Turnover and Retention
Compliance with the company policies & practices
Non-Financial Measures
Comply with Sales Code of Conduct
Adheres to Regulations and Legal/Compliance sales process.
Complete mandatory licensing and training courses as prescribed and pass knowledge tests as
required.

3. Job Requirements:
Degree in management or business-related field
>3 year of managerial experience in business/sales development. Ideally within insurance and/or
banking sectors
Experience in Agency channel/insurance industry is added advantage.
Discipline and integrity.
Result driven, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure, innovative and sales mindset.
Proven ability to influence and build sustainable, profitable sales through third party distributors.
Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, processes and services
Customer service centric
Good people management & engagement skill
Personal traits: Positive, passionate, resilience mindset, collaborative, a self-starter, ability to perform
under pressure in a challenging environment and teamwork.
Demonstrate ability to recruit, lead and motivate team
