Position Summary
Were looking for a strategic, data-savvy Pricing Manager to own and elevate our pricing strategy across our modern pharmacy chain. This position will blend analytics, field insights, and market trends to create pricing that drives sales, protects margins, and keeps us ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Pricing Development
- Design and implement pricing strategies that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer value.
- Apply value-based, competitor-based, and promotional pricing models for different product categories.
- Continuously refine pricing approaches to respond to market trends and business objectives.
Market and Customer Insight
- Conduct market research and gather live feedback to understand customer perceptions and price sensitivity.
- Analyze competitor pricing and customer behavior to identify risks and opportunities.
- Use insights to ensure pricing supports both commercial goals and customer access.
Data-Driven Analysis
- Leverage BI tools and AI analytics to track costs, margins, and price elasticity.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date pricing data to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor pricing performance and report on the impact to sales, margin, and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field (Pharma background is a plus)
- 5+ years experience working in pricing or commercial roles in retail businesses, FMCG, or e-commerce
- Proficiency with BI tools and advanced analytics platforms
Skillsets:
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data, assess price elasticity, and forecast impact using BI tools and analytics software.
- Collaboration: Skilled at working cross-functionally with Category, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to align pricing with business goals.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Comfortable navigating fast-paced and ever-changing environment
