What You'll Do

• Manage and operate container-based platforms and Kubernetes environments across Vietnam and Australia.
• Own platform-related activities end-to-end, including deployment, operation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Manage Kubernetes / K3s clusters, container workloads, platform configurations and related networking components.
• Perform regular platform upgrades and updates, including recurring / quarterly maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot platform, deployment and container-related issues.
• Support developers in deploying applications into different environments and resolving deployment-related issues.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, with Jenkins currently used within the environment.
• Create and maintain pipeline/configuration files and support more standardized deployment processes for Development teams.
• Improve existing automation scripts and processes to reduce manual platform administration.
• Identify repetitive operational activities that can be automated, including cluster creation, updates, scanning, deployment and other platform-management activities.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize multiple platform/environment instances.
• Support platform-related networking and firewall requirements where required.
  
  

Key Criteria

• 3+ years of experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, K3s, or Cilium
• Strong hands-on experience working with Kubernetes environments is the main technical requirement.
• Experience with K3s and Docker is highly relevant, while strong Docker/container experience should also be considered.
• Candidate must have practical experience managing platforms/environments, including deployment, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting
• Hands-on exposure to CI/CD and deployment processes is required. Jenkins is currently used by the team, although candidates with similar CI/CD tooling can also be considered.

• Ho Chi Minh City (Ree Tower, Xom Chieu Ward): Vietnam business hours (8 am – 5 pm). Hybrid set up with 4 days/week in the office
