What You'll Do
- Architect and develop a scalable internal data platform using Python as the primary language.
- Build connectors and integrations with third-party APIs and data sources.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to support data ingestion and transformation.
- Define platform architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps practices to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver robust solutions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure platform health and performance.
- Champion best practices in data engineering, security, and governance.
What You Bring
- 5–10 years of experience in data engineering, backend development, or platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python for building data pipelines and backend services.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, and API design.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other languages (e.g., Go, Java, Scala).
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in a regional or multi-market environment.
