About The Role
As the Member Services and Events Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the overall experience and value for members, by delivering exceptional events and localised content delivery, supporting the member volunteer network, attending to member enquiries and providing personalized support and resources.
Your Key Accountabilities Include- Event Planning & Execution
- Responsibility for coordinating a diverse portfolio of events and CPD delivery, requiring scheduling, logistics coordination, reporting and ensuring a high quality onsite/online attendee experience
- Member Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with member, member volunteer networks - Divisional Council members, Committees, Branch Committees and other member volunteers
- Marketing & Promotion
- Accountability for marketing and promoting membership, events and member services to attract attendance and engagement
- Member Satisfaction & Retention
- Responsibility for meeting goals for member satisfaction and retention with the organisational strategy and targeted campaigns
- Office and Financial Management
- Accountability for financial aspects related to events and member services
This position is a fixed term contract for 12 months
About You
You will come to us with a proven track record in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including networking events, conferences, webinars, and workshops, as well as experience in event logistics, budget management, vendor coordination, and attendee engagement is crucial to ensure successful events for members
You Will Also Have
- Experience in customer engagement and exceptional customer service, with have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with members, understand their needs and preferences, and provide customized support.
- Experience in member retention strategies and feedback management is valuable for continuously improving member satisfaction
- Strong communication skills are essential for servicing members, internal stakeholders, and employers.
- Experience with professional communication practices, including face-to-face, emails, drafting customized member communications (e.g., newsletters), and member volunteer network support (e.g., Divisional Council agendas and minutes). The executive should also be able to communicate compelling messaging tailored to different member segments and external audiences.
- A qualification preferably in a Business or Events discipline would be highly advantageous
