Key Responsibilities
- ISO Implementation & Compliance: Lead the implementation, certification, and continuous improvement of international management systems, including but not limited to:
ISO 9001 (Quality Management System)
ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management)
ISO 13485 (if medical-related plastic components are produced)
IATF 16949 (if automotive plastic/electronic parts are involved)
ISO/IEC 17025 (Testing & Calibration, if relevant to in-house lab scope)
- Supplier Quality Management: Lead the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) function, covering supplier qualification, process audits, and performance monitoring. Establish corrective and preventive action plans with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
- Auditing & Compliance Monitoring: Plan and execute internal audits across departments to ensure adherence to company policies and international standards. Coordinate external audits with certification bodies and customers, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Team Leadership & Culture Building: Foster a strong culture of quality awareness and accountability across the plant and support cross-functional teams to ensure defect-free production and customer satisfaction. Coach and mentor quality team members, enhancing technical and compliance competencies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems in a manufacturing environment (plastics, electronics assembly, and final product testing).
- Solid experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective action processes.
- Hands-on track record in implementing and achieving ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with good command of English (written and spoken).
- High level of honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.
- Willingness to travel frequently for supplier audits and compliance checks.
