The Purpose of Your Role
The Senior Content Manager will lead the development, ideation, strategy, and oversight of two content streams: medically approved, non-branded content for the HelloBacsi platform and branded/advertorial/SEO content for clients. The role focuses on multi-format output for web and social channels delivered through an in-house team of editors and writers, supported by freelancers and agencies. You act as a role model and the guardian of high-quality content across all formats.
The Senior Content Manager will be tasked with framework development, editorial calendars, and execution of on- and off-platform campaigns across text and video formats. The role will liaise closely with project management (regional and local), SEO, Social, Video, Medical Review, Design, and Commercial teams for resource planning and delivery.
Non-Branded Medical Editorial (On-Platform)
- Lead editorial team to deliver medically approved, non-branded content for HelloBacsi.
- Own topic map, editorial calendar, style guide, sourcing standards, and citations.
- Manage end-to-end medical review workflow with EIC/doctors; ensure compliance.
- Monitor content quality, readability, schema usage, and internal linking.
- Use data to refine coverage, update articles, and close query/content gaps.
Branded Content Delivery (Text Branded, Advertorial, SEO)
- Manage team for branded/advertorial/SEO content; ensure quality client delivery.
- Build and manage freelancer network with clear frameworks and policies.
- Allocate resources, manage timelines, and improve processes (briefs, SOPs, templates).
- Edit or write SEO articles, advertorials, audits, and frameworks with high polish.
- Use SEO tools (Ahrefs, GA, GSC) for data-driven content strategies.
- Collaborate with SEO team and EICs to align with policies and Google updates.
Multi-Format Content Strategy & Direction
- Translate articles into scripts, captions, thumbnails, and multi-format assets.
- Set creative/review checklists; coordinate cadence with Social & Video leads.
- Approve assets to meet platform standards and brand safety.
SEO, Analytics & Planning
- Turn insights (Ahrefs, GSC, GA4) into briefs, content backlogs, and experiments.
- Oversee audits, entity/topic coverage, internal linking, and post-publish reviews.
Business Development
- Support BD/VPs in interpreting briefs, building strategies, and winning proposals.
- Ideate, create, and execute content/SEO campaigns for clients.
- Represent HHG in client meetings when needed.
Capability Development
- Build branded content capabilities via training, recruitment, and feedback.
- Support process implementation to ensure high-quality client campaigns.
People & Performance Management
- Role-model HHG values and mission in leadership and team management.
- Implement performance management: clear JDs, MBOs, regular 1:1s, feedback.
- Support staff development through HHG Academy and regional learning.
- Monitor engagement, retention, and policy compliance.
