Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible leading an effective marketing strategy to propel company growth. You will work cross-functionally to understand marketing needs, act as a company brand ambassador to external sources, and drive revenue growth through successful marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Vision

  • Advise the Business Head and Management Committee on short-, medium-, and long-term marketing plans aligned with the overall Business Strategy.
  • Contribute to business strategic planning by identifying opportunities, setting priorities, and defining core strategies.
  • Continuously monitor competitive activities, propose counterstrategies, and drive volume and profit objectives to strengthen market share.

2. Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide leadership in alignment with the companys mission and strategy, including goal-setting, prioritization, motivation, and oversight of daily operations.
  • Lead and organize the Brand, Media, and Consumer Marketing teams, ensuring effective structure and performance.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and commitment to quality.
  • Define and monitor performance objectives, assign responsibilities, conduct appraisals, and support professional growth of team members.

3. Brand Management

  • Develop and execute brand strategies to position new and existing brands/products for growth in line with Marketing Divisions strategic goals.
  • Drive brand health and market share through 360 marketing campaigns, including distribution, advertising, pricing, and product propositions.
  • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for marketing activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to guide brand positioning and strategy refinement.

4. Innovation

  • Lead portfolio strategy, product innovation, and channel development to expand categories and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Identify unmet consumer needs, assess feasibility of new products, and oversee launch planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product bundles and integrated campaigns.
  • Direct strategies for product launches, PR, media, agency collaborations, and budget management.

5. Marketing Communications

  • Build and execute impactful communication strategies to strengthen brand awareness, recall, and consumer desire, ultimately driving sales.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor activities to propose innovative communication channels, new products, and media approaches.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and contribute to both short- and long-term growth targets.

Qualifications

  • MBA or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Chief Marketing Officer or in a senior marketing leadership role within FMCG multinational companies.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and business plans (branding, product promotion, etc.), with strong experience leading the full NPD (New Product Development) cycle.
  • A strategic leader with both creative vision and analytical strength, capable of conceptual thinking and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach diverse teams across different levels of expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research, consumer insights, and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, including the latest trends, tools, and platforms.
  • Available to Vietnamese nationals
