Main Responsibilities
As the Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications, you will lead the endtoend development and execution of SOAs brand, demand generation, and communications strategy. You will work closely with the Csuite, business unit heads, and external partners to accelerate crossborder growth, build industry thought leadership, and drive a consistent, compelling message across all channels.
1. Strategy & Planning
- Define and implement a multi-year marketing strategies & roadmap aligned with SOAs growth ambitions.
- Set annual budgets, goals, and KPIs (e.g., pipeline influence, lead conversion rates, brand awareness).
- Conduct yearly market, competitive, and customer research to inform strategy.
2. Demand Generation & Sales Enablement
- Oversee marketing automation, lead scoring, and nurturing programs.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Units and Sales teams to design sector-specific campaigns that drive qualified leads and new business opportunities.
- Define and monitor KPIs such as MQLs, conversion rates, CAC, brand awareness, and campaign ROI.
- Align marketing efforts with sales pipelines and quarterly revenue goals.
3. Brand & Thought Leadership
- Oversee all brand messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice across owned and earned channels.
- Supervise content creation (articles, case studies, whitepapers, SEO-optimized web content, social media, videos).
- Lead PR efforts, media relations, and public representation of SOA at key events, forums, and ecosystems.
4. Internal & Employer Branding
- Design internal communication programs that reinforce company vision, strategy, and values.
- Strengthen employee engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and internal transparency.
5. Team Leadership, Budget & Partner Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing & communications team, covering digital, content, design, and PR.
- Manage annual budget and relationships with agencies and vendors.
- In collaboration with Business Units to cultivate strategic partnerships with chambers of commerce, trade bodies, and ecosystem players.
- Stay ahead of market trends and lead innovation across all communications touchpoints.
- Own, optimize, and integrate the marketing tech stack and solutions (CRM, email automation, analytics, CMS, SEO tools).
6.Crisis & Reputation Management
- Develop and implement crisis-communication protocols.
- Advise the executive team on reputational risks and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 710 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, including leadership roles.
- Education: Bachelors/Masters in Marketing, Communications, Business; MBA preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese (French is a plus).
- Proven track record of driving marketing-lead revenue growth.
- Experience in international markets, especially Southeast Asia, is highly preferred.
- Experience managing teams and scaling marketing functions.
- Strategic thinker, business acumen, stakeholder management, crosscultural agility.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and commercial orientation.
- Strong grasp of digital marketing, brand development, content strategy, SEO, analytics, marketing automation, and CRM.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multicultural, entrepreneurial environments.
