Job Description
Job title: Machining Quality Control Engineer
Reporting line: - Machining Quality Control Manager
Working schedule:
- 44 hours/week
Job purpose:
- Ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Quality Management System documentation, monitoring
- Improving the effectiveness of the Quality Control system and participating in various quality-related activities to enhance overall product quality.
Job description:
- Maintain and improve the QMS, procedures, work instructions, control plans, and inspection plans.
- Manage CAPA, customer complaints, and findings from internal/external audits.
- Perform quality analysis using SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of quality data, records, and documentation.
- Support certification/re-certification and authorization audits.
- Provide quality training and QMS support to employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare quality reports and recommend improvements to processes and efficiency.
Requirement:
- Degree in Mechanical, Technical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Mechanical/Assembly Quality Control or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Core Tools, 5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, and quality methodologies.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, GD&T, technical drawings, and measurement tools.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, with good teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
