Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities

Legal Compliance & Risk Management

• Monitor and advise on legal matters arising from the Group's operations.
• Review, identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across business activities.
• Provide legal opinions and practical recommendations to management on compliance and business matters.
• Keep management informed of changes in laws and regulations that may impact manufacturing operations and business activities.
• Proactively identify potential legal issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Regulatory & Licensing Matters

• Review and manage legal and regulatory issues related to environmental compliance, fire prevention and fighting (PCCC), construction permits, and other operational licenses.
• Coordinate with external legal consultants, regulatory agencies, and service providers to obtain, maintain, and resolve issues related to licenses, permits, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of regulatory and legal procedures.

Contract & Dispute Resolution

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Advise on legal issues arising during contract execution.
• Support the resolution of disputes, claims, and legal conflicts involving the Group.
• Coordinate with external law firms in handling litigation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings when required.

Manufacturing Projects Support

• Provide legal support for manufacturing-related projects, including factory expansion, construction, investment procedures, and new plant development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance throughout project implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Law. Lawyer Practicing Certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum 8-10 years of legal experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing companies.
• Proven experience handling legal matters related to environmental regulations, fire safety compliance, construction, licensing, and industrial operations.
• Experience working with external law firms, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Strong background in contract management, dispute resolution, and corporate legal advisory.

• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing businesses.
• Excellent legal analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently to operating sites and project locations.

Candidate Profile Preferred

• Candidates must have hands-on legal experience within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, food ingredients, agriculture processing, or related production environments.
• Experience supporting factory operations, regulatory inspections, licensing, and large-scale industrial projects is highly preferred.
