Job Duties
Advisory Tasks
- Conduct legal research as requested by the Legal Manager handling advisory matters, including reviewing legislative documents and liaising with relevant authorities to obtain practical insights.
- Assist in drafting and/or reviewing portions of internal policies, various contracts, etc., depending on assignment and capability.
- Proofread deliverables for typographical errors as requested by the Legal Manager.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Legal Manager from time to time.
Licensing Tasks
- Draft, prepare, and submit statutory application files to obtain relevant licenses, permits, certificates, or approvals for the company in specific cases.
- Liaise with licensing authorities to clarify requirements and instructions before, during, and after submission of application files.
- Obtain deliverables resulting from licensing procedures from the relevant authorities.
- Manage disbursements related to licensing tasks, such as travel costs and submission fees.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Legal Manager from time to time.
Requirement
- Qualification: Obtained the Bachelor of Laws Degree from an accredited university in Vietnam
- Fresh graduate is acceptable, but it is preferable if you possess at least 1-2 years of working as a legal assistant/paralegal in a law firm or as a legal executive/in-house legal consultant specialized in technology or rooted in a startup environment.
- Strong desire to learn and the ability to work under high pressure
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English (all 4 skills with intermediate or upper level)
- Good team player
