Position Summary:
We are looking for a talented and performance-oriented Lean Engineer to strengthen our team. The successful candidate will bring solid expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, streamlining processes, and promoting operational excellence across our production sites. To succeed, you will need a proactive approach, strong analytical ability, and practical experience in Lean application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to boost productivity, minimize waste, and improve product quality.
- Facilitate value stream mapping (VSM), Kaizen workshops, and 5S audits to uncover process gaps.
- Design and implement continuous improvement (CI) initiatives that enhance workflow efficiency.
- Provide training and coaching to team members on Lean methodologies, tools (such as OEE, 5S, SMED), and best practices.
- Analyze operational data to identify patterns, bottlenecks, and potential improvement areas.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Engineering to deliver sustainable outcomes.
- Track KPIs and report progress of Lean programs to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Contribute to the rollout of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) initiatives when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement roles within a manufacturing setting.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
- Strong command of VSM, 5S, Kaizen, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Standard Work.
- Skilled in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI) and process mapping applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English (Chinese is a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other company locations when required.
