Job Description Human Resources Director (HRD)

Role Summary
The HRD leads the overall HR strategy and operations for the company, ensuring workforce stability, compliance, and talent development in a high-volume apparel manufacturing environment. The role is both strategic and hands-on, driving people initiatives that support business performance and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversee training, leadership development, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and OHS standards.
- Manage employee relations and maintain strong labor-management engagement.
- Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits programs.
- Standardize HR processes and optimize workforce efficiency across sites.
Requirements
- Bachelors in HR or related field (Masters preferred).
- 10+ years HR experience, at least 5 years in a leadership role in apparel/garment manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
