Job Description
Skinetiq is a company in the skincare & beauty industry and a member of the Marico Group — is looking for an experienced General Accountant.
In this role, you will take full ownership of month-end closing, tax compliance and financial reporting within a dynamic multinational group environment. This is a core role with a clear growth path, working alongside a finance team that is actively standardizing operations toward international benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Control accounting vouchers, perform general ledger journal entries, and handle period-end adjustments (accruals, allocations, depreciation, and closing entries). Ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/annual closing
- Review weekly payment requests to ensure strict alignment with the approved budget
- Prepare Financial Statements in compliance with VAS. Monitor, calculate, and maintain precise control over Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) & landed costs
- Prepare, verify, and manage tax declarations (VAT, PIT, Foreign Contractor Tax/FCT); handle provisional quarterly CIT payments and annual tax finalization (CIT, PIT)
- Execute intercompany transaction reconciliations and provide precise financial data to the FP&A department
- Prepare and review internal management reports regarding cash flow
- Establish and operate cross-checking mechanisms within the accounting team. Manage and archive accounting records systematically, securely, and confidentially
- Serve as the primary point of contact to prepare documentation and explain financial data for periodic external audits
- Execute other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Management
Requirement
- 3–5 years of General Accountant experience, including strategic HR responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Accountant, with a proven track record of independently handling financial closings and preparing VAS financial statements.
- Deep understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (Circular 99/2025) and current tax regulations (VAT, PIT, CIT, and e-invoicing)
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power Query, and accounting software/ERPs (Fast, MISA, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Professional English proficiency (Reading & Comprehension at B1–B2 level or higher). Highly meticulous, organized, and capable of thriving under tight month-end closing deadlines
Preferred
- Prior experience in FMCG, cosmetics, or multi-channel E-commerce industries.
- Exposure to IFRS or experience working within subsidiaries of multinational corporations.
- Ability to leverage technology and automation tools (Advanced Excel, VBA, Python, or Power BI) to streamline data reconciliation and optimize closing cycles.
