About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Finance Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, focusing on providing comprehensive financial management support to our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, particularly within the context of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) companies, and be proficient in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS). As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and international accounting principles
- Check the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Check all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
- Manage cash flow and working capital effectively
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization
- Experience working with FDI companies, understanding their specific financial reporting requirements
- Prepare financial reports for management and investors
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master&aposs degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
- Proven experience working with FDI companies and a strong understanding of their financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and international accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluency in English is required
- Experience with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Vietnam
