DevOps Engineer

About the job

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to streamline our software delivery pipelines and manage cloud-native infrastructure. The candidate should have strong experience with CI/CD, containerization, automation, and monitoring in modern infrastructure environments.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Work closely with developers to optimize application deployment and reliability.
• Ensure infrastructure scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise solutions.
• Enforce DevSecOps practices: secrets management, security scans, compliance.

3. Required Skills

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration background.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP) or hybrid environments.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Go).

4. Nice-to-Have

• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• GitOps practices (FluxCD, ArgoCD).
• Security and compliance automation (Vault, Snyk, Twistlock).
• Certifications: CKA/CKAD, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
