JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled ERP Technical Support Engineer to join our
team in the F&B industry. This role is primarily responsible for managing and resolving daily
support tickets related to D365FO ERP systems across multiple regions, while also contributing to
CR development and system enhancements when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the first line of technical support for D365FO ERP-related issues, ensuring timely
resolution of daily support tickets.
Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve system errors, user issues, and integration problems in
collaboration with local IT teams and business users.
Document support cases, resolutions, and root cause analyses to build a robust
knowledge base and improve future response times.
Participate in CR development activities including minor enhancements, bug fixes, and
customisations based on business needs.
Review and maintain technical specifications and documentation for support and
development tasks.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimisation and reliability
improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and postdeployment support of new features or fixes.
Stay current with D365FO updates, patches, and best practices, and share relevant
insights with the team.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in technical support or development roles within D365FO ERP systems.
Proficiency in X++, MorphX, and DevOps practices aligned with D365 standards.
Familiarity with data management, migration tools, and report development in D365FO.
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
Solid understanding of X++ programming and code management in a multi-environment
setups.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server (views, stored procedures, security roles).
Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as RPA, Azure Cloud, SaaS, and DevOps is
advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across cultures and
teams.
Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
