Channel Business Manager

About the role:

Own and grow business through selected channel partners in an assigned territory. The role requires a highly mobile, field-oriented channel sales personnel who spends significant time with with resellers to drive pipeline, revenue and partner engagement. 

Requirements:

Partner Management 

• Manage relationships with key distributors, resellers, MSPs, system integrators and strategic partners
• Develop joint business plans with partners to drive revenue and market growth

Field Engagement /Road Warrior 

• Spend significant time in the field visiting partners across the assigned territory
• Conduct regular partner visits, pipeline meetings and sales enablement sessions

Pipeline & Revenue Growth 

• Build and manage a healthy partner-led pipeline
• Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue
• Track bookings, pipeline, forecast, net-new logos and other key sales metrics

Typical KPIs 

• Partner-sourced / partner-influenced revenue 
• Pipeline generation and pipeline coverage 
• Net-new customers / logos 

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1-3 years of experience with expertise in channel program or sales 
• Experience with IT/cybersecurity is a plus but not required
• Good understanding of indirect/channel sales models 
• Proven ability to engage distributors and reseller ecosystems 
• Good relationship-building skills

• Schedule: Shifting
