The Business Development Manager (BDM) is the key interface between Tech Data, GCC vendors (e.g., ASUS), channel partners, and end customers. This role is responsible for driving business growth and executing vendor strategies in alignment with market opportunities. The BDM oversees the end-to-end sales cycle with the objective of maximizing revenue, net gross profit, and customer satisfaction by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across vendor organizations, partners, and customers.
The goal is to deliver strong business outcomes while strengthening partner relationships and customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute vendor-specific business development strategies and campaigns.
Identify and onboard new channel partners while nurturing existing accounts.
Drive product focus and promotions for GCC products, especially ASUS and related vendors.
Execution - Credit management, Order processing, AR Collections
Operational excellence - pipeline management, forecasting and inventory management
Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and recommend actions for business growth.
Coordinate with marketing to drive awareness and demand-generation activities.
Minimum 8 years of experience in IT distribution, ideally with a focus on computing components.
Strong understanding of the IT channel ecosystem and computing product categories.
Commercial acumen with the ability to develop strategic sales initiatives and partner plans.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Negotiation skills and the ability to influence partners and vendors.
Team player with strong ownership mindset.
