Automation Engineer

MAIN TASKS:

· Develop and maintain PLC, HMI and SCADA applications under supervision of senior engineers.

· Prepare IO lists, functional descriptions, cause & effect matrices and control philosophies.

· Configure PLC hardware, networks and field interfaces.

· Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.

· Review vendor automation documentation and integrate vendor packages into plant control systems.

· Coordinate with Electrical, Process and Mechanical disciplines.

· Support cyber security, backup and version control requirements.

· Prepare engineering reports and project documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor Degree in Automation, Control, Mechatronics or related discipline.

· 2 years relevant automation engineering experience.

· Participation in at least one industrial automation project lifecycle is preferred.

· Basic-to-competent knowledge of Process Control Systems (PCS), Machine Control Systems (MCS)..

· Working knowledge of PLC architecture, HMI and SCADA concepts.

· Understanding of industrial communication protocols and instrumentation interfaces.

· Basic understanding of cement and industrial process automation.

· Good at TIA Portal, MS Office 365 (Must Have)

· Pre-Intermediate English minimum.
