RainScales develops an AI platform connecting thousands of cameras to monitor safety and security. Each edge device deployed at customer sites requires implementing AI processing directly on the cameras.
Job Summary
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This role ensures client satisfaction, drives sales growth, and identifies new business opportunities within assigned strategic accounts. The KAM acts as the main point of contact between the company and its most important clients, ensuring their needs are met with timely and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and provide tailored solutions and services.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to deliver outstanding service.
- Monitor account metrics (e.g., sales results, account activity) and prepare regular reports.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitors, and client developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Account Manager, Business Development, or relevant role.
- Having experience in the IT industry is a strong advantage.
- Good English communication skills in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and CRM software.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to details.
