Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Engineer

Reporting to: Site Manager / Head of Site Operation Division

About the Position

• We are looking for a WTG Engineer to join our Site Operations team and support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our wind farm.
• The WTG Engineer will take primary responsibility for WTG management at the assigned wind farm, including turbine performance monitoring, technical issue management, maintenance oversight and coordination with the WTG OEM and other contractors.
• The position is intended to strengthen REV's in-house technical capabilities and will play an important role in the long-term operation and performance improvement of the wind farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor WTG operational status and performance
• Manage WTG faults, defects, and technical issues
• Coordinate and manage WTG OEM maintenance activities
• Review WTG availability and key operational data
• Support monitoring of BOP operational status and performance
• Support WTG site inspections, technical/operational reporting, and internal coordination

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the wind power industry, preferably in WTG operation, maintenance, or technical management.
• Practical understanding of WTG systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review and analyze operational and technical data.
• Experience working with or for OEMs and technical contractors.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work primarily at the wind farm site.
• Working proficiency in English and Vietnamese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vestas or Siemens Gamesa wind turbines.
• Experience in operating wind farms or other renewable power generation assets.
• Knowledge of SCADA, turbine performance analysis and availability management.
• Experience in defect management, warranty claims or major component issues.
• Familiarity with Vietnamese power-sector and HSE requirements.
• Experience in blade defect management-inspection)drone), defect categorization, and supervision of repair campaigns including quality verification.
