We operate under two brands: Artemis Digital and Heads On Pillows - serving clients across Vietnam, Australia, the UK, and SE Asia. Our services include SEO/Local SEO, PPC management (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads), social media management, and website design & development.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Wordpress Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in building and managing WordPress websites. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about web development and eager to learn real-world skills in a professional environment.

You will work closely with our development team to create and maintain WordPress websites, optimize performance, implement SEO strategies, troubleshoot issues, and support various web development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and managing WordPress websites using Elementor and custom themes.
• Install, configure, and customize plugins and themes to enhance website functionality.
• Format and upload content (blog posts, images, and pages) following SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues, including plugin conflicts and broken links.
• Optimize website performance by implementing caching, image compression, and speed enhancements.
• Assist in developing custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced fields using ACF.
• Conduct website testing and ensure mobile responsiveness across multiple devices.
• Support website migration, backup, and security measures using tools like SiteGround and Wordfence.
• Monitor Google Analytics and generate basic traffic reports.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Communicational English skills.
• Basic understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
• Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders.
• Basic knowledge of:
• PHP for backend customization.
• JavaScript (especially jQuery or Vue.js).
• HTML, CSS (preferably SCSS).
• MySQL – ability to understand and query the WordPress database (e.g., SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, etc.).
• Experience using Git version control (e.g., GitHub or GitLab).
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):

• Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Locomotive Scroll, or SwiperJS.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce, Polylang, or Yoast SEO.
• Basic understanding of REST API integration in WordPress.
• Exposure to WordPress hooks (actions and filters) and custom post types.
• Understanding of cPanel, FTP, or Local development tools (e.g., Local by Flywheel, XAMPP, MAMP).
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
