.Supports the Food and Beverage Service team by performing support duties including mise en place of food preparation, set up of functions, set up of food and beverage equipment, mini bar operations and assisting with the preparation of service.
.Adhere to regulations concerning FSMS/ HACCP, health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Activities of the role)
Mise en Place and Food Preparation
Assist with receiving and storage of goods
Clean and maintain equipment and premises
Maintain hygienic standards and procedures
Assist with the preparation of functions and service
Assist with cellar operations
Assist with the preparation of an outlet for service including:
oCleaning of equipment
oSorting of stores equipment
oCleaning and maintaining glassware for service
oCleaning and maintain flatware for service
oCleaning and maintain chinaware for service
oPreparing waiter stations
oPreparing buffet service
oPreparing service equipment and materials
oAssisting with table preparation
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
.Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
.Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
.Actively informs guests of product options and offering
.Takes a diligent and pro-active approach to guest care and service at all times.
.May assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Skills -
.Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
.Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
.Able to read and write in English
Qualifications -
.High School and /or Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field
Experience -
.Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.
