Job- Role Details:

Position: Vietnam Linguist

Project Type:Longer-term requirement for approximately one year, working full-time (40 hours per week / around 8 hours per day).

Project Overview

We are seeking experienced Vietnam Linguist.

·       Preferred Exeprience & Qualifications:

·              Bachelor's degree or higher in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field

·              Strong understanding of syntax, semantics, corpus linguistics, and language structure

·              Experience with annotation, corpus analysis, intent/entity evaluation, or linguistic error analysis

·             Experience in review, proof-reading checking the speech accuracy, tonal accuracy, pronunciation, speech model

·              Basic knowledge of Python for Linguistic role and for Speech models

·              Experience working with structured language data and collaborating with technical teams

The task will also involve listening to each audio file that may require proof-reading and verifying that the spoken content exactly matches the provided text. 

Identify and flag any mispronunciations, incorrect or nonsensical words, text errors, background noise/non-speech sounds, or other audio quality issues should be identified and flagged.
