Video Editor

Role Purpose

Transform raw footage and source materials into engaging, high-volume, social-first content that drives audience engagement and supports brand objectives. This role is responsible for editing, remixing, and optimizing content for multiple platforms while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and current social trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content from footage provided by videographers, creators, SMA teams, and brand assets.
• Repurpose and remix original content into multiple social-first formats to maximize content output and performance across platforms.
• Create high-volume short-form content optimized for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels.
• Enhance storytelling, pacing, visual quality, captions, motion graphics, and sound design to improve audience engagement.
• Collaborate closely with Content Creators, Creative teams, and Brand teams to ensure content aligns with brand strategy, tone of voice, and campaign objectives.
• Leverage AI-powered editing and content creation tools to improve production efficiency and content scalability.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, editing techniques, platform algorithms, and emerging content formats.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and content publishing schedules.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in video editing, social content production, or related creative roles.
• Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
• Experience creating social-first and performance-driven content for digital platforms.
• Familiarity with AI tools for video editing, content generation, and workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, content hooks, retention techniques, and platform-specific best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume content production requirements.
• Portfolio showcasing short-form social content, content repurposing, and creative editing capabilities.
