You'll be in the room where decisions are made: investor research, investment memos, monthly investor updates, data room, and pilot tracking. Expect a steep learning curve, lots of context, and real responsibility.

SCOPE OF WORK

A. Capital Strategy & Fundraising

  • Support the CEO in designing and maintaining the cap table, scenario analysis for different investor mixes (VC, CVC, angels).

B. Investor Research, Selection & Due Diligence Support

  • Perform background research on potential investors: theses, portfolio, check size, typical ownership, and strategic fit.
  • Support dealflow & pipeline tracking in CRM (or spreadsheets / Lark) including stages, next actions, and key notes.
  • Assist in preparing briefing notes before investor meetings and follow-up summaries after each call.

C. Investor Relations & Communication

  • Draft and help refine monthly investor / stakeholder updates: metrics, milestones, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
  • Assist in creating and updating investor-facing materials (presentations, FAQs, deal memos, one-pagers).
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and basic documentation for investor calls, roadshows, demo sessions, and events.

D. Strategic Projects - Go Global Workstreams

  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up tasks.
  • Conduct market and partnership research for Japan, SEA, Australia and other priority markets including comparable platforms, potential enterprise clients, and ecosystem partners.
  • Help develop internal memos and decision documents (e.g. pilot design, pricing scenarios, expansion hypotheses).

  • Maintain organized documentation of all fundraising and partnership activities (CRM, spreadsheets, Notion/Lark).
  • Support ad-hoc strategic and analytical tasks from competitor mapping to unit economics modelling (with guidance).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and New Business Development interns/teams to collect data and insights needed for investor narratives.

  • Build a portfolio of work:
  • Investor maps, research notes, sample investor updates, snippets of investment memos (where sharable).
  • Work at the intersection of AI, EdTech, HRTech, and Workforce Development, alongside pilots with global players like CrowdWorks.
  • Receive close mentorship from a founding team with proven experience across the globe.
