Unit Head of General Accounting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Manage and supervise all general accounting activities, including bookkeeping, control, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

2. Develop, maintain, and update the chart of accounts, accounting policies, and work processes to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.

3.Serve as the primary liaison or cooperate with external parties such as independent auditors, tax authorities, and inspectors to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting and tax reports and documentation.

4. Train and handle accounting policy matters.

5. Manage General Accounting team and to ensure that all the tasks/responsibilities of team will be well performed.

6. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Management or Head of Financial Accounting.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education : University Graduate, major: Accounting/ Finance or equivalent;

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in the finance or banking industry, Solid understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS);

• knowledge or experience with IFRS is a plus. Practical experience working in a business-driven and performance-oriented environment.

• Understanding of consumer finance and retail banking operations is an adavantage.

Skills:

• Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and tools for handling large-scale data.

• Strong skills in data analysis and synthesis.

• Good writing skills, especially in drafting accounting policies and internal guidelines.

• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English, especially in reading financial reports and communicating.
