Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Training Manager located in HCMC, to lead product education for our sales teams, pharmacy partners, and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Vietnam. This role combines classroom and field training, ensuring our partners have the product knowledge, confidence, and tools to recommend our products effectively. The position also involves regular field engagement with HCPs and pharmacists to reinforce learning, provide scientific updates, and build strong professional relationships.
Key responsibilities
Training Design & Delivery
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs on brand story, product benefits, usage guidelines, and contraindications for internal teams, retail partners, and HCPs.
- Conduct in-person and online training sessions across regions, adapting content to audience needs and knowledge levels.
- Create and update training materials, including presentations, product manuals, e-learning modules, and reference guides.
In field training:
Visit HCPs & Pharmacists regularly to reenforce product knowledge , present benefits and scientific evidence
- Support sales teams in field activities, ensuring training is applied effectively at the point of recommendation.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with pharmacy staff, HCPs, and distributor teams.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and UK training team to align training and field activities with commercial priorities.
- Support key account activities, including product launches, retail activations, and pharmacist engagement programs.
Performance & Evaluation
- Track training reach, participation, and knowledge retention.
- Assess post-training impact through field observations, feedback, and sales uplift.
- Continuously improve training content based on feedback from participants and commercial teams.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales or training in the pharmaceutical or supplements industry.
- Experience in engaging with pharmacists, retail staff, or HCPs.
- Prior experience as a Medical Representative, Product Specialist, or Trainer is advantageous.
Language skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken Vietnamese is essential.
- Very strong English communication skills required for working with global teams.
Skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Persuasive communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging messages.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and field visits simultaneously.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
Additional Information
This position is based in Ho Chi Minh City with regular travel across Vietnam for training and field visits.
The Product Training Manager will play a key role in strengthening our brand presence by combining structured training with hands-on field engagement to equip customer-facing teams and partners with the knowledge and confidence to recommend our products effectively.
