  • Responsible for the delivery of the development, project leadership, quality and timely delivery of projects and deliverables.
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects are properly planned, communicated, and progressed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for the effective management of project budgets and the control of project expenses.
  • Combine skills in negotiations, administration, leadership, and technology to remove obstables and hindrances.
  • Identify cross directorate and cross project dependencies, risks and activities and negotiating resolution to conflict.
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects are properly planned, communicated, and progressed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review business requirements and strategize methods to minimize delays and utilize resources.

Job Responsibilities


  • Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
  • Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
  • Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team and creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture, and team performance.
  • Provide support, supervise staff, and provide direction and mentorship in tech support and service delivery
  • Ensure team(s) maintain focus on quality and continuous delivery.
  • Work with the Product Owner to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories
  • Ensure all products are built to an appropriate level of quality
  • Defining, documenting, and coordinating requirements, scope, priorities, change management and estimations.
  • Encouraging regular iteration on deliverables and key ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retros).
  • Creating and presenting easy-to-follow reporting, including throughput, risks, issues and successes.
  • Keeping projects on time and on budget

Job Requirements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computing discipline or equivalent
  • Over 7 years project management experience
  • Over 7 years of experience working in a Technical Consultant
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
  • Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Experience in Team management and staff development
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experience in running Agile (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Experience of Team management and staff development
  • Experience of financial control and budget management
  • Experience of vendor management
  • Excellent people development skills

Knowledge and skill


  • Strong business-oriented spirit and delivery processing skills
  • Strong communication and team player that have expert knowledge of Agile methodologies. Effective verbal and written communication skills (People, Customer)
  • Strong analytical skills (Strategy, Financials)
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills (People)
  • Require capability of presenting in English especially on technical and architectural topics
  • Efficient in using Microsoft Office, MS Project, Jira
